Trakup is a web monitoring and SEO reporting service operated by Trakup ("we", "our"). This privacy policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you use our service at trakup.app.

2. Information collected
Information you provide to us
- Account data: email address, name and password when registering.
- Payment data: processed securely by Stripe - we never store banking details directly.
- Site data: URLs and domains you add to monitor.
- Preferences: language, notification settings.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, actions performed in the application.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system.
- Cookies: session cookies for authentication, preference cookies for language.
Google Search Console data
If you connect your Google Search Console account, we access impressions, clicks and positions for your verified properties. This data is used solely to display it in your Trakup dashboard. We do not sell or share it with third parties.
3. Use of your data
- Provide, operate and improve the Trakup service
- Send monthly SEO and performance reports for your sites
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, scan alerts)
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Respond to your support requests
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- Comply with our legal obligations
We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate Trakup:
- Stripe - payment processing. Stripe Privacy Policy
- Resend - transactional email delivery.
- PostHog - product analytics (privacy-friendly).
- Google APIs - access to Search Console data (only with your explicit authorization).
- Neon / PostgreSQL - database hosting in Europe.
5. Data retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, unless required by law or accounting obligations (generally 5 to 7 years for billing data).
Waitlist emails are deleted within 90 days of the product launch.
6. Your rights
Depending on your place of residence, you have the following rights:
- Access: obtain a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: request the deletion of your personal data.
- Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection: object to processing based on a legitimate interest.
- Restriction: request the restriction of processing of your data.

Trakup is not intended for persons under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately.
